An empowering, fast-moving 18-minute briefing on the dangers to democracy posed by privately owned electronic voting machines, what patriotic citizens, activists and officials of all parties are doing about it - and how you can help.

‘Election Integrity’ - An Oxymoron?
One of the key issues our work has focused on over four decades is election protection, here and abroad. Without uncensored information flow and free, fair and trustworthy elections - what we call Deep Democracy - informed, democratic policy making is impossible.
(Our first award-winning film together, the PBS/NHK documentary Strategic Trust: The Making of Nuclear Free Palau was on this issue.)
In this current supercharged election extravaganza season (as Chomsky once dubbed it), the issue of a rigged voting system has certainly not gone away - as the Meryl Ness and Caitlin Johnstone articles linked-to below attest.
The current situation raises the ironic question for lifelong election integrity activists: Is the most patriotic course to boycott, or to hold ones' nose and vote in, a rigged election?
For background, we invite you to visit our extensive playlist on our EON3 YouTube Channel: Election Protection & Deep Democracy
Votes Freely Cast, Transparently Counted and Honestly Reported Election Integrity is key to functioning deep democracy, in which people power and civil society rule, rather than shallow, managed or facade democracy, in which the state becomes a captive of corporate forces, organized crime forces, or a combination of both - and is used to sell capitalism, as is currently the case in the United States, U.S.-dominated international institutions and many nations around the world. †We show many of those working for election integrity, especially in Ohio and California since 2004.
